Join the Ward 10 Youth Council!
Open to High School students either living in Ward 10 or attending St. John Henry Newman or Orchard Park Secondary Schools. The Council meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month from September to June (excluding December). Meetings start at 6:30pm and run until 8:00pm. Meetings take place at the Stoney Creek Municipal Centre (Old City Hall) at 777 Hwy 8.
The spring Youth Council Members discussed important local issues such as mental health, teen vaping, climate change and more.
Who Can Join?
Students Attending Either Orchard Park or Saint John Henry Newman Secondary Schools, or any high school-aged youth living in Ward 10 (From Grays Road, East to the Grimsby Town Line)
When Will We Meet?
First Meeting is Tuesday Feb 28th – 7pm (then monthly afterwards)
